Lauren, here! I spent Saturday, June 18 with Carrie and Luke in Asheville, where they tied the knot at Pack Square Park, with a reception next door at Pack’s Tavern’s Century Room.
I’m not even sure where to begin with this sweet couple. I felt at ease with Carrie and the girls the moment I walked into the room. They were only slightly fazed when the whole area got hammered by storms as they got their hair and makeup done for the outdoor wedding. As luck would have it, the rain cleared out just in the nick of time to stick with Plan A: getting married outside!
The wedding party then took a trolley around Asheville for photos and ended up back at the reception for dinner, drinks and some awesome dancing. Coldstone Creamery was there instead of a cake, which was a huge hit and such a fun idea.
Newport News-based band Snackbar Jones really kept the party going, and they were definitely one of the most impressive bands I’ve seen perform at a wedding! The whole day was bursting with so much love, between Carrie and Luke, their friends and their families.
The fanstastic Bobby and Mark of Bobbymarks designs coordinated all the details of the day and did a superb job as always!!

Another big thanks to Team Photographer, Jennifer Callahan, who was my second photographer for the day and did a fantastic job!
