Lauren here! Mary and Ashley’s wedding celebration was hands down one of the raddest shindigs I’ve ever photographed. Both Outward Bound instructors, Mary and Ashley got hitched at Cedar Rock, at the Outward Bound base camp on Sept. 8. They invited their guests up for an entire weekend of fun, including a bluegrass band Friday and outdoor adventures Saturday before the wedding. Guests could choose from rock climbing, hiking or a ropes course! It was a gorgeous day in the peaceful Pisgah National Forest. The ceremony was unbelievably sweet, and the reception went all night long, fire twirlers included! This amazing couple was surrounded by family and friends who showered them with love and joy, and I was so honored to be a part of such an amazing weekend. Thanks to Tommy Penick, who did a fabulous job as my second photographer for the day. Tommy’s background in adventure photography proved to be very useful in documenting this exciting day!
