Haley and Zach at Raffaldini Vineyards

Where do I even begin? Meeting Zach and Haley and being a part of their big day was like breathing in a fresh breath of mountain air!! They are so much fun and sweet, artistic, and spunky! We clicked right away!

Zach BLEW ME AWAY with his band The Whiskey Smugglers based out of Carrboro, NC (Please check them out, you won’t be sorry!!) and made me tearry when he announced that he’d be singing a song that he wrote for Haley (and it was soooo honest and sweet!). These two truly have a “sweet love” (also a name of a Whiskey Smuggler song) and are expecting twin baby girls in September!!

Here are some highlights from their love-filled wedding day:

Haley’s father sees her in the dress for the first time (below)

New associate photographer (staff photog for the Citizen-Times), Erin Brethauer, had a blast with the groomsmen at their cabin!!

Just take a second to soak the scene in above….so much craziness going on here!!

The setting here at Raffaldini Vineyards was absolutely gorgeous!!!

Zach was so completely floored when he saw haley in her dress!!

Erin caught this fantastic moment between Zach and Haley’s father!!!

It was a gorgeous (and HOT) summer day on Saturday. Above, father of the groom, Glenn, wipes off some sweat!

A butterfly flys by during the ceremony (above)…a good omen? I think so.

Haley and Zach had very sweet and personal vows to each other

Zach quickly changed roles and sang for Haley and her father’s dance (below).

And Zach and his mom REALLY cut a mean rug!

Cake and treats by Cake and All Things Yummy in Kernersville, NC

Haley and Zach had a special cake for Haley’s mother who was also celebrating her birthday!

Did I mention the Whiskey Smugglers rocked?

What a great day, celebrating a great couple!!! Congrats Haley and Zach!

A BIG thanks to my newest associate photographer, Erin (below), who I’m so excited to have on board with us! More to come from Erin next year! 🙂 Erin is a staff photographer with the Asheville Citizen-Times.

Below, Erin climbs up on a chair to get the right angle without knowing that this couple was ready to catch her if she fell! 😉

Sarah and Erin, from one photographer to another, you guys did an awesome job! Everything looks super-sharp and those difficult action shots at the reception are amazing! My brother and sister-in-law are more than pleased with the work you’ve done.
