Welcome to my blog!

My love of photography and story-telling began as early as my first photography class in the 8th Grade (Thanks Mr. Hubbard!). I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2005 with a BA in Photojournalism and have since been working as a photographer in the beautiful city of Asheville, NC. I specialize in photojournalistic wedding coverage and have been an award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) since 2008.

True to my journalism training, I like to capture the energy and emotions during a wedding day. I am drawn to classic images that tell a story and those that show the love between two people whether it's a father and his daughter, life-long friends, or two people in love. I am inspired by weddings because I see these love-filled moments everywhere I turn my head.

Whitt and Mollie in Pinehurst, NC

Today on the blog is the beautiful wedding of Whitt and Mollie in Pinehurst. These two were married on Oct. 25 at the Village Chapel with the reception at the Country Club of North Carolina. I had so much fun documenting all the love I witnessed on this wedding day! Please enjoy these highlights!
