I had SO much fun photographing John and Caroline at our engagement session this past Sunday here in Asheville. John has been a long-time friend from Raleigh and it’s been so great re-connecting with him and hanging out with his fiancee Caroline who I just can’t say enough fabulous things about!! I’m excited to announce that I’ll be photographing their wedding day coming up this Oct . 15 in Asheville.
Before I got interested in photography, I wanted to make movies. John and I made many silly short films together growing up and he actually does this for a living now as the owner of Third Floor Productions. If you’re from Raleigh, you may remember John from his HIT public access show, The Big Bad Show, which had a 6 year run before John went on to college at the School of the Arts in Winston-Salem. I was even a guest on the Big Bad Show once when I returned from a summer at film camp (I was 15 years old) and John showed my short film on his show!! Caroline is in medical school at UNC and was able to work it out so she can do her last two years up here in Asheville and she and John can be together.
This couple is silly and fun, sweet and energetic, all rolled up in a rather handsome package! I am so happy for my friends, John and Caroline!
