On the blog today is Sara and Joey’s Sept. 26 elopement in Blowing Rock, NC. I first met Sara several years ago when I shot her sister (and my friend), Alison’s wedding outside of Raleigh. I’ve been following Sara and Joey’s sweet cross-country journey on social media throughout the year and was so excited to capture this special day for them. The entire week before their wedding day, we had loads and loads of rain and the wedding day rang the same bell. While it forced plans to change a bit (they two were supposed to be married on the Blue Ridge Parkway) Sara and Joey didn’t loose sight of what was really important–getting married and enjoying this day.
