Saturday, June 18, I traveled to Linwood, NC to Creekside Plantation for the wedding of Sarah Wylie and Marc Horstman. Sarah and Marc met at N.C. State when Marc tutored Sarah in Chemistry. Obviously there was another sort of Chemistry at work as well! These two both love the outdoors, so their wedding was appropriately located on Sarah’s beautiful family farm.
It was a very stormy and rainy day, but everyone pitched in and made this a truly memorable and GORGEOUS wedding! Congrats to Marc and Sarah who are honeymooning in Hilton Head, SC!

It was really hot before the rain, so there was a lot of sweat-blotting!
About 45 minutes before the ceremony, a bad storm came through the area. Above, the musicians run for shelter. Below, the rain drips off the barn, over-looking the ceremony site.
Guests began arriving to the plantation (above) and were then re-directed to Linwood United Methodist Church (below) when the rain plan was set into effect.
After the ceremony, the rain had cleared and everyone headed back to the barn for the party!

Thanks so much for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day and another big thanks to my assistant, Brittany (Below, waiting out the storm), who did a fantastic job as always!
