Ashley and Jerel in Hendersonville, NC

Saturday, July 9, I traveled to Hendersonville NC to celebrate the wedding of Ashley Hall and Jerel Langley. This adorable couple met on the track team at Gardner-Webb University where they both threw the javelin. They are obviously best friends and it was so fun to be a part of such a fun-filled day. Ashley and Jerel were married at the Mud Creek Baptist Church with the reception at Hendersonville Country Club. The dance floor was by far one of the most fun I’ve seen all year!!

The story of their engagement is really sweet! In Ashley’s words “Jerel was moving to Michigan on Friday and we decided to meet that Wednesday in Clemson to have a ‘good-bye’ dinner. I met him in a parking lot so that we could ride to the restaurant together. He asked where we were going to eat adn I said, ‘I don’t know, you pick!’ He then asked, ‘Where are all the restaurants?’ So he asked me to get his GPS out of the glove box and when I opened it my ring was sitting there in the box!! He asked me if I would marry him and of course I said YES!!”

The day started at Top of the Line Hair Salon in Hendersonville, NC where Lynn (Aunt of the bride) did a great job with Ashley’s hair.

Above, Meghan, Ashley’s sister and Maid of Honor, gets her hair done.

Ashley and her bridesmaids kill some time and watch funny you-tube videos on their iphone!! (above)

Flower girl, Julianna, was SOOO cute! She requested to get her hair done like Taylor Swift and was Thrilled with the results!!!

I loved the bride’s and bridesmaids shoes! (below)
