Lauren, Here! I was lucky enough to get to know Lauren when we lived together as interns in the summer of 2006. I loved her instantly. She’s smart, funny and a strong and confident woman. We kept in touch despite living on opposite sides of the country, and when she and Kamel got engaged, I was totally honored and flattered that they asked me to come to Seattle and document their wedding! I didn’t meet Kamel until the week of the wedding, but I could immediately tell why Lauren wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. He’s adorable, and they complement each other in a very special way.
Their wedding was beyond beautiful, and bursting at the seams with love from their families and friends. The ceremony was held at Lauren’s gorgeous high school chapel, at Holy Names Academy. The reception was held at the Fairmont Olympic hotel in downtown Seattle, where Lauren had wanted to get married since she was a little girl. I can’t say enough about this amazing couple. I wish them every happiness in their new married life, I just know they’re going to have a blast. Lauren and Kamel, thank you so much for bringing me to the West coast for the very first time for such an amazing reason. You’re a special couple, and I hope we get to see each other again really soon!
