Danielle and Morgan at the NC Arboretum

It was a fabulous wedding day from start to finish this weekend, Aug. 13, 2011. I’ve had this couple’s save the date card on my fridge for months now and have been excited about seeing this sweet couple tie the knot! On Saturday, there were calls for rain and even hail, but somehow everything cleared just in time and we managed to have a GORGEOUS outdoor ceremony!

Morgan and Danielle met freshman year at Georgetown University and stayed together through college and graduate school (they were both lucky enough to go to grad school in the triangle). Morgan proposed while the two were on a trip to DC (where they met a spend their first four years together). ย The two are currently on their honeymoon in Costa Rica, which is already the ninth country they have visited together!

Here are some highlights from Morgan and Danielle’s sweet wedding day:

The day started at Lola Salon in downtown Asheville.

Make up by E Scott Thompson

Ceremony took place at the NC Arboretum here in Asheville, NC

I loved the bridesmaids’ dresses and grecian headbands!

Howard Hanger did a great job with the ceremony

A reading from “Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss, a personal favorite! (above)

Morgan got fancy with the first kiss and led with a spin and dip! it was quite a moment!!!

Flowers by The Flower Shop in Hickory, NC

Danielle was such a radiant bride!

The reception was held at On Broadway in Downtown Asheville

Bethany from All the Right Grooves kept everyone out on the dance floor as always!

Is it just me or does anyone else LOVE the “Duggy”? ๐Ÿ™‚

From the dance floor, I glanced over at one point and spotted Morgan and Danielle sharing this super sweet moment together off away from the crowd (below).

And they’re off to Costa Rica! So much Love and Congratulations to Morgan and Danielle! Thanks so much for sharing such a special day with me! Another big thanks to my newest assistant photographer, Selene Briggs, who did a great job on Saturday and was having so much fun at the reception she stayed two hours after I told her she could go home!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks Selene!
