What a great wedding day (March 3) at the Langley Air Force Base with Sarah and Chris! The weather reports earlier in the week looked ominous and it seemed that rain was inevitable, however, Saturday rolled around and it was the perfect temperature and lovely! Sarah and Chris are an ADORABLE couple and this day was full of sweet moments between family and friends.
Here’s Chris and Sarah’s story as told by Sarah: ” I first laid eyes on Chris back in 2003 at Old Dominion University during “tables”. We never spoke but I always thought he was attractive. Seven years later, the stars aligned and we bumped into each other through mutual friends. We chatted the first night and he gave me his business card to ‘give to any single ladies.’ Needless to say, I kept it for myself! He left for Maine the next day, but we kept in touch with calls and emails. Eventually, his ship returned to Norfolk and we have been inseparable ever since.”

Sarah fell in love with her wedding dress when she tried it on and it reminded her of her favorite childhood dress (made by her grandmother). The resemblance is quite remarkable!
Such a sweet moment when Sarah’s dad saw her in her wedding dress for the first time! I couldn’t help but get a little emotional myself!
This was seriously the best first kiss EVER!
