I really don’t know where to begin with Willow and Paul. They are one of the most adorable couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with (and I work with a lot of really cute couples!). They are quirky and sweet, intelligent and artistic, and most importantly they are both crazy about each other. I first met with Willow and Paul at the Palates of Perfection office during the weekend of Belle Cher last summer and I fell in love with them right away. Of course, I was so thrilled when they told me that they wanted me to be the photographer for their important day.
Willow and Paul were married May 19 at Lake Eden Events in Black Mountain, NC (just outside of Asheville). Shay Brown Events did a fantastic job putting everything together, as always! Here are some highlights from this great wedding weekend:
The weekend began with bridesmaids’ pampering at Illusions Day Spa, followed by the katubah signing and rehearsal at Lake Eden
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Blue Spiral 1 Gallery in downtown Asheville.
The wedding day started with preparations (hair by Cody Pettry, make up by Melissa Deboer). I loved how Shay Brown Events set up the “getting ready” area outside. It was SUCH a beautiful day and the water was flowing behind where the ladies were getting ready and it was such a calming setting.

The weekend ended with a bonfire (above) for Willow and Paul and their friends.
