It was such an honor to be a part of the wedding of Amanda and Scott on July 28 of this year. Amanda’s sister, Jenn, is a good friend of mine so it was really special to meet Amanda and Scott and be a part of their big day. Leading up to the big day, I asked Amanda about their relationship and her response was so sweet! “he restores my faith in things I didn’t realize I was missing. He’s the kind of man little girls dream of meeting and who great authors base great men on. The ones we hope exist, but I never thought they did outside of books and my imagination.” I love this response and I’m so glad she found her prince charming!
Here are a few highlights from Amanda and Scott’s wedding day:
Amanda’s brother (below) practices his reading
Amanda and the bridesmaids arrive at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church
Flowers by A Watered Garden Florist
Loved these sweet moments with her dad before the ceremony! 🙂
Such a sweet moment (below) when Scott kissed Amanda’s hand after their walk down the aisle 🙂
The reception was held at the Museum of Natural Science’s Nature Research Center. I LOVED shooting here. What a cool setting for a wedding reception and the dance floor was the coolest ever!
The best thing about having your wedding reception at the Nature Center? Guests can learn a thing or two while sipping wine and celebrating!!
What an entrance!!!
Best man Curtis performed double-duty and sang the couple’s first dance song (above)
Mark from Joe Bunn DJ ROCKED as DJ for the night
like I said….best dance floor EVER!! I had so much fun shooting dancing amidst these cool nature backdrops
Congratulations Amanda and Scott!!! I hope you have a lifetime full of more moments like these! A big thanks to my assistant, Kat, who did a fabulous job as always! Thanks Kat!
